Identifying elements of context in health care of relevance for the implementation of evidence-based practices in low- and middle-income countries – new article

2015-08-25

Context matters. It influences health worker performance, health worker retention and implementation of relevant knowledge. Researchers at the International Maternal and Child Health at Uppsala University have together with researchers from Bangladesh, Vietnam, Uganda, South Africa and Nicaragua developed the Context Assessment for Community Health (COACH) tool – a tool developed to systematically assess aspects of context influencing the implementation of relevant knowledge in low- and middle-income settings. The development of the tool has now been published in the BMC Implementation Science (follow this link),

A summary of the project can also be found on this link.
